The property was zoned for church/school use and needed to be changed to commercial. A relationship was established with the Mayor and Senior Planner to insure their support of the rezoning
The site did not have enough room for on-site detention. Cedarwood worked with the City Engineer to identify capacity in an adjacent drainage area and incorporated an easement so on-site detention was not required.
As part of the rezoning, the adjacent property owner was concerned about the increased traffic. Cedarwood met with the daycare owners and adjusted the project’s driveways to minimize conflicts
